Good to know.
Is GuestNest only for weddings?
Weddings come first — multi-day schedules, sides for each family, Punjabi built in — but GuestNest works for engagements, anniversaries, birthdays, baby showers, graduations, reunions and any gathering worth planning.
Do my guests need the app?
Yes — GuestNest is an iPhone and iPad app. Guests download it, sign in with Apple, Google or email, and enter your join code. One person can reply for their whole household, so relatives without an iPhone are still counted in the family’s RSVP.
What’s included for free?
Up to 30 guests with RSVPs, the full schedule, updates with push notifications, the travel guide, Q&A, quick links, every theme, languages and co-hosts. Guest passes and add-ons are only needed when you grow or want photos, seating or song requests.
Are purchases a subscription?
No. Each purchase is a one-time unlock for one celebration. It’s shared by every host of that celebration and stays with it if you reinstall. Guest passes don’t add together — your largest pass applies — while photo storage does (two 100 GB walls give you 200 GB).
Who can see our celebration?
Only people who join with your code or a private family link. Celebrations aren’t listed or searchable. Hosts see RSVPs; guests see their own family’s reply. You can change your join code at any time.
Can guests share full-quality photos and videos?
With a Photo Wall unlock, guests upload originals — photos and videos — to a shared wall. You can approve photos before they appear and download everything afterwards — originals are kept for 12 months after your celebration, and we remind you before they're deleted.
Which languages are supported?
The app’s buttons and menus are in English and Punjabi. Your own content — schedule, welcome, guide, Q&A — can be translated into any language you add, and each guest chooses what they read.
How do refunds work?
Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. If a refund is granted, the unlock is removed from the celebration.
How do I delete my account or our data?
In the app go to Account → Delete account. See account deletion for exactly what is removed, or contact support.
